Freehand wins four prizes at the 2021 Alberta Book Publishing Awards

Freehand was honoured to take home four awards at last week’s Alberta Book Publishing Awards ceremony:

  • Watershed by Doreen Vanderstoop won the Trade Fiction Book of the Year Award
  • The End of Me by John Gould, designed by Natalie Olsen of Kisscut Design, won the Book Cover Design Award
  • If Sylvie Had Nine Lives by Leona Theis, designed by Natalie Olsen of Kisscut Design, won the Book Design Award
  • One Madder Woman by Dede Crane, edited by Deborah Willis, won the Lois Hole Award for Editorial Excellence
