Doreen Vanderstoop chatted with Dymphny Dronyk on CJSW Writer’s Block, about her debut novel, Watershed. As Doreen describes it:
“It’s a story about family, about conflicting ambitions between a mother and her son, and it’s all set against a backdrop of cataclysmic climate change effects in Alberta.”
Dymphny describes how believable the “cli-fi” (climate fiction) novel, set in Alberta in 2058, is:
“It all seems utterly plausible, that it could happen tomorrow and it makes perfectly sense. .. gripping, chilling, good job to you!”
