Between the ages of fifteen and seventeen, Charlotte Bellows penned her debut, a memoir titled The Definition of Beautiful about her resilience while suffering from anorexia, the pandemic lockdown, and societal standards of beauty for women.
We’re pleased to announce The Definition of Beautiful has been shortlisted for the 2024 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize in Nonfiction.
