Agnes, Murderess wins $10,000 Vine Award

Congratulations to Sarah Leavitt, who won the Vine Award (Fiction) for Canadian Jewish literature for her graphic novel, Agnes, Murderess!

The jury said, “Sarah Leavitt delivers a most powerful story, artfully tying together the engaging voice of her protagonist with well-timed ellipses and magical drawings that are the hallmark of the successful graphic novel.”

The award was announced at an online ceremony on November 18, 2020.
