Freehand Books hires Kelsey Attard as Managing Editor.
We are delighted to announce that Kelsey Attard will be joining the company as Managing Editor.
Attard has a Masters degree in Publishing from Simon Fraser University, where she was awarded the Susan Juby Award for editorial excellence. She previously worked as an editor at Lone Pine Publishing and as Program Coordinator at the Writers’ Guild of Alberta.
“Freehand publishes wonderful books—books that I love to read. I’m delighted to be joining the company,” says Attard.
Attard will begin on July 4, replacing outgoing Managing Editor Sarah Ivany.
