05/12/2024 (Lethbridge): Freehand Spring 2024 Book Launch Party

Does your mom like books? Bring her to our book launch celebration!

A short story writer, a novelist, and a poet walk into a steampunk-themed bookstore… and charm us with superb readings from their brand new books!

This May, Freehand Books celebrates four new works from four talented writers, three of whom will be launching in one afternoon. Join us at Analog Books for readings from Edmontonian Catherine Owen, Calgarian Marion Douglas, and Ottawan Sara Power. After brief readings from each author, we’ll break for snacks and drinks, then reconvene for a moderated Q&A period with the authors.

Please RSVP so we can anticipate attendance in advance!
