05/09/2024 (Edmonton): Freehand Spring 2024 Book Launch Party

Join Freehand Books in Edmonton at Audreys Books to hear three superbly talented writers read from their brand new books.

A short story writer, a novelist, and a poet walk into the basement of a bookstore… and charm us with superb readings from their brand new books!

This May, Freehand Books celebrates four new works from four talented writers, three of whom will be launching in one night. Join us at Audreys Books for readings from Edmontonian Catherine Owen, Calgarian Marion Douglas, and Ottawan Sara Power. After brief readings from each author, we’ll break for snacks and drinks, then reconvene for a moderated Q&A period with the authors.

Please RSVP so we can anticipate attendance in advance!
