About

Freehand Books has a very simple mandate: to publish excellent Canadian literature. Our list is an aesthetically diverse, award-winning collection of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction by both established authors and exciting new voices.

New Submissions

Freehand publishes innovative and literary novels, short story collections, graphic literature, and works of creative non-fiction. We are particularly interested at this time in submissions of graphic literature (memoir, etc).
