2014 Awards
It was a great weekend for Freehand at the 2014 Alberta Book Awards:
- Ali Bryan was awarded the Georges Bugnet Award for Fiction for her debut novel, Roost
- Natalie Olsen of Kisscut Design won the Alberta Book Design of the Year Award for The Dilettantes by Michael Hingston
- Freehand Books was named the 2014 Alberta Publisher of the Year
